Writer's Escape

Writer's Escape
by Ael Naleyn Zanalv

In books, countless of realms and worlds are written between pages.
Locked away from the world. Hidden away from the naked eye.
Books, appreciated by only a few. Understood by some. Neglected by the many.
Yet they stayed. Its writer's continued the undying legacy. From scrolls to hardbound books.

Now to a writer, whose a student of literature and the hidden world. Books aren't the only escape we have. But be aware that our 'escape' still involved books, somehow that is. Writers are different in any way if I do say so myself. For my aside from books, I see listening to music and watching some interesting horror films are my type of escape. A drink of coffee or tea in a rainy day with the radio playing my favorite jazz, is also my type of escape. I end up reading in the end of the day though, but that's inevitable. I love reading. It's where I seem to find peace and well, my only way to travel. Country after country, world after world, realm after realm, galaxy after galaxy. Reading is my escape in any given chance.

For a writer, well I, as a student still, I usually get questions that goes 'were you ever bored?', 'how can you write so comfortably?', 'what? how? why?'. Now I do say I never really given them a real answer. For one, I do get bored. But if the book is that interesting what's the meaning of 'bored'? Two, writing became the action that comforts me. Better than a hug if I do say so myself (I still love warm hugs). Lastly, I'm human and what I write is either what I truly feel or what I felt about a certain event.

So what is the goal of this post? Well, the goal of this whole thing. Is that I wanted my readers to understand a few things and some other who actually judged me for wanting this profession. Now, for the real question. What is a writer's escape? Well, ask yourself. You've became a writer once in your life.  What is your escape?
